Today sucked. Don't come back until Saturday...

Now a major motion diary...

At the risk of getting banned for negatively impacting Markos' ad revenue...

So, yes, today sucked.

I told you it would.

The solution isn't to become depressed, and nor is it to bury your head in the sand. It's all about perspective. Obama is, mathematically speaking, being gravitationally pulled toward the nomination. He'll be alright. All of this mess right now is about appearances, and you can't do much to change that. So, for your own sake, keep perspective on the race as a whole AND on your own involvement.

Trust me, here's what you do:

DO NOT OBSESS ABOUT NEWS FOR A WEEK.

Take a breather. Donate some cash to Obama. Go download some free classes or PBS forums at iTunes "iTunes U" section. Buy a new kind of beer (or wine). Watch channels other than MSNBC or CNN. Sure, check in Saturday to see how far ahead he is in Wyoming (if you're in Wyoming work for Obama). Then check in again next week to see how he does in Mississippi (if you're in Mississippi, work for Obama).

The next week, if you spend it here or watch MSNBC or CNN, will be beating your heads up against the wall while Hillary's supporters gloat and are blissfully ignorant of the math that seemingly prevents their candidate from getting close enough in pledged delegate. Why do that to yourself? Let them have their confetti moment, after a month of losses they've earned it.

Remember, Dkos isn't important in itself, cable news isn't important in itself (at least not in a way you can change), and if you personally don't pay attention I promise nothing awful will happen. Just donate and, if you're state is coming up, prepare locally.

Otherwise, take some time off, check back in for a little bit on Saturday and then come back rested next Tuesday.

Yes, today sucked. But tomorrow (and next week, and next month) will only start to suck if Hillary can show a math path to the nomination. Right now she's coming up blank.

We've got delegates, they've got confetti, stay away and relax a bit.
